Spicy Sweet Potatoes Recipe

SPICY SWEET POTATOES RECIPE
Another sweet potatoes recipe...the Spicy Sweet Potatoes...nice & spicy

SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 lg Sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 c Nutmeats; chopped
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/8 ts Nutmeg
  • 1/8 ts Cloves
  • 1/8 ts Cinnamon
  • Sifted flour
  • Fat for deep frying

SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Boil, peel and mash potatoes. Add nuts, butter, salt, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. Beat till well blended. Gently form into balls. Carefully roll in flour. Deep fry in hot fat until golden brown.Serve very hot. These are good with pork roast or chicken. The spicy sweet potatoes is ready to serve...nice !

Glazed Sweet Potato Wedges


GLAZED SWEET POTATOES RECIPE
Another sweet potatoes recipe the ....Glazed Sweet Potato Wedges

SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/4 c Orange juice
  • 1/4 ts Cinnamon
  • 2 md Sweet potatoes; peeled and cut into eight wedges
  • Orange slices; optional
  • Parsley sprigs; optional
SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
First of all melt butter in an 8" square dish in the microwave. And then stir in orange juice and cinnamon. Next is to add potato wedges, toss to coat well. Cook, covered with wax paper 6-8 minutes, or until tender, stirring halfway through. Garnish with oranges and parsley, if desired. And the sweet potatoes is ready...enjoy !

Sweet Potatoes with Apricot Glaze










Sweet Potatoes with Apricot Glaze

Nice sweet potatoes recipe to try...a must try !

SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
  • 6 md Sweet potatoes (about 2 2/3 pounds)
  • 1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c Apricot nectar
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1 ts Grated orange rind
  • 1/2 ts Grated lemon rind
  • 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c Chopped pecans; toasted
  • Grarnish: orange-rind rose
  • And curls; optional

SWEET POTATOES RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
For 10 mins. cook the sweet potatoes in boiling water or until tender. Cool to touch; peel and cut into 1/4" slices. Arrange potatoes in a lightly greased, 2 quart shallow baking dish; set aside.
In a saucepan combine brown sugar and the next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil,stirring often. boil for 1 mins. Drizzle mixture over sweet potatoes. If desired cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerate, and let sit at room temperature for 30 mins.
Bake uncovered, at 350° for 35 to 40 mins. or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with pecans. If desired granish with orange-rind rose and curls. This great sweet potatoes is ready for
feasts...great taste. Enjoy !
